Raze is a fast-paced and addicting online shooting game where you select your customized militant character, and participate in a range of shootout matches, covering all levels of difficulty. Even if you are a newcomer and not an experienced online gamer, simplistic controls of the Raze take only minutes to grasp, and once you've got the grip, you are going to love this game. At the beginning of the Raze game, you will be given with a number of options to create your own profile. Assign a name to your warrior, choose a theme for catchphrases ranging from alien to human, and scroll through an extensive range of appearances for your character. After you are introduced into the game through the clear onscreen instructions, you will appear at the main screen with your name in the middle and a list of options on both sides.
The Raze Game really is a fun online shooting & strategy game, and will leave you hooked for hours before you realize that you've lost track of your time completely and the day is gone. Although the game idea is brilliant, there isn't anything overwhelmingly new or complex, and it is fairly easy to play despite the fact that high levels of concentration are vital here.
How to Play: Right after entering into the game area selections, choose Campaign or Quick Match game type:
Campaign - Advance through a vast amount of levels, working alongside your team, whilst equipped with a range of deadly weapons to aid you. After choosing this mode – click on Human selection (top selection) if you are playing for the first time. The levels will become noticeably more difficult, and hovering over a mission on the main screen will give you information about that level, such as the difficulty and team members. Once human mode is completed, you may choose an Alien to be your partner and form an alliance. Alien mode picks up the difficulty from where human mode left off, so expect it to be considerably harder.
Quick Match - You may setup your own match in Raze, using many of the features you've experienced during campaign mode. You are given the ability to choose what game mode you wish to play: elimination or team deathmatch. You may also choose the map, which weapons are available, the number of allies and opponents, the difficulty and what score is needed to win. This option might be a better choice if you are new to the game.
Before you start playing, read the Weapon Info menu tab. It shows diagrams of all 10 weapons available and an in-depth explanation of how they work and their limitations.
No matter which mode you select, you will always be prompted to try out the tutorial, which isn't required, but is a good place to warm up.
Unsuspecting controls include the boosted jump; just a double tap space button. Raze also warns of any unforeseen problems to do with the environment such as obstacles in your path, and liquids that restrict your character's movement. Considering this is a flash game, some of the visuals and shooting effects are very impressive, but tend to slow down some old or lower grade computers and make the game slower.
From the very first moment of the game – you are either on your own (Quick Match or in a team – for example Red Team). If you are playing alone – everyone is against you. If you chose a Campaign game, your name displays your team color (just above your head), meaning that you have to watch out for guys from the opposite team. Try collecting every weapon, health or shield icon you see in your way. Weapons available are shown at the bottom of the screen and a key number is displayed below. Press the corresponding number key, and that weapon is selected immediately. Use your mouse to target and to observe the area around you.
To begin a campaign, click on one of the colored mission tabs, not grayed out with a padlock over it. You will now notice that on the left hand side there is a column, telling you the difficulty, game mode, the number of opponents, and how many opponents must be shot in order to win. Proceed by clicking on the Start button, and the game will begin.

The Raze game screen moves according to where your mouse goes, and not where the player (character) goes. The character is controlled by the arrow keys on your computer keyboard. Your mouse also controls the direction in which your character is looking and aiming. When you are shot – you can „Respawn“ by clicking anywhere on the game screen. You really are accompanied by a rather 'No-Hoper' team, just to bog you down rather than assist you. Saying that, do not rely on anyone else but yourself. Good luck Shooter!
