Feb 23, 2016  I have accidentally uninstalled cyberlink media suite on my computer, how do i reinstall without having to purchase it? This came pre-installed on my unit but when i went to upgraded it, it told me to uninstall first for the upgrade, now i don't have it at all and do not want to purchase it. Cyberlink Power Media Player exhibits several issues when attempting to play media. These issues are exhibited on all HP PCs that are shipped with Windows 10.
The computer may exhibit one or more of the following symptoms:
  • No image is displayed.
  • No audio is heard.
  • CD/DVD discs and Media files cannot be played.
  • When Cyberlink Power Media Player is closed, it cannot be re-launched.
To resolve this issue, perform the procedures listed below.
Reinstall
  1. Open Control Panel and select Programs.
  2. Select Apps and features.
  3. Choose Cyberlink Power Media Player or Cyberlink PowerDVD from the program list.
  4. Follow the on screen instructions to uninstall the software.
Option 1: Reinstall Power Media Player from Recover Manager:
  1. Type HP Recovery Manager in the Search field.
  2. Click on HP Recovery Manager in the results field.
  3. Select Reinstall drivers and/or Applications.
  4. Locate and select Cyberlink Power Media Player or Cyberlink PowerDVD from the list.
  5. Click on the Install button.
  6. Follow the on screen instructions to install the software.
  7. Restart the computer when the installation is complete.
Option 2: Download and install the following SoftPaq to upgrade the Power Media Player software:
